About the program

The Capital Market Apprenticeship Program, which was launched in 2021, comes within the framework of the belief of the Bahrain Bourse on the importance of training and qualifying young Bahraini competencies, coinciding with the launch of the "National Employment Program" under the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The program also aims to reinforce the foundations of financial knowledge with the graduate students and the establishment of investment practice and knowledge within the graduates and this is within the framework of efforts by the Bahrain Bourse to expand and publish various programs centered on financial knowledge within different age groups.

What does the program offer?

The Capital Market Apprenticeship Program extends for a period of 6 months offers a full-time practical training opportunity for 8 trainees in 7 different departments in Bahrain Bourse, with the aim of giving the trainees practical experience and providing them with the necessary skillset to enter the field of work and allow them to understand how operations are conducted in the Bahrain Bourse in particular, and in the Capital Market in general. The program also includes multiple educational courses in the field of research, technical and fundamental financial analysis and private investment lessons. Interns will also benefit from the opportunity to meet and communicate with a group of influential decision-makers in the Capital Market of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

After participating in the program, participants will be able to:

  • Acquiring advanced knowledge in the Capital Market and practical experience in trading skills, in addition to developing and enhancing their skills in financial research and analysis.
  • Receive a certificate of participation and experience in the program, and an evaluation letter explaining the trainee's main features and competencies for future employers.

Conditions for applying to the program:

  • The applicant must be a "Bahraini".
  • The applicant must be a graduate of "Bachelor's" or higher.
  • That the applicant possesses a passion and interest in the field of Capital Market.
